FPGA Design Engineer

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Ideally with 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Experience in designing and successfully delivering high performance FPGA designs
• Have been responsible for completing several designs from initial requirements analysis, through to silicon validation
• Experience working on telecommunication network designs is a plus
• A high level of understanding of common L1-L2 Networking protocols and their hardware implementations is preferred
• Expert level proficiency with VHDL
• Experienced with the latest Xilinx and Altera hardware platforms and associated tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work and communicate well across functional groups
• Experience in interworking between remote design sites a plus
• Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to work and excel in a innovative design environment
• Validation and system bring experience preferred
• Experience with packet processing FPGA designs a plus
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills with rapid cross-functional issue resolution
