Our direct client is an esteemed leader in the DoD software industry, is seeking a PCB CAD Librarian to join their team.

JOB LOCATION: Lexington, MA

JOB DURATION: 12 - 24 months +

SALARY: up to $85K + full benefits

HOURLY RATE: $55-65/hr


Description:

PCB CAD Librarian. Will share in managing the deployment and support of the Mentor Graphics Dx/Expedition Printed Circuit Board (PCB) CAD tools on Linux platform via a lab-wide network configuration.


Specific duties include:

  • Creation of schematic symbols and layout cells for library of electronic components
  • Verification of pin-outs and package geometry on new library components
  • Evaluation of new tool releases and subsequent configuration, rollout and support of networked PCB CAD design flow
  • Creation and delivery of in-house training classes in this design flow
  • Providing help one-on-one to users
  • Maintenance of part number to symbol/cell relationships in Oracle (DxDatabook) database.

This position requires prior CAD Administrator, CAD Librarian or EDA Application/Design Engineer experience within the Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition design flow.
